Have you ever thought of trimming your own horse's hooves?

Here's Why to Consider It
The number of farriers who do a good job is paltry. The odds that your farrier is doing right by your horse is slim.
The damage done to your horse's physical and emotional well-being by hoof imbalance, distortion, and dysfunction is unnecessary.
Trimming a hoof is not rocket science. In fact, it's quite easy once you know basic anatomy, which landmarks to follow, and get comfortable with the tools.
You'll save money on farrier expenses and never have to wait for anyone to show up.
How Does Teach and Trim Work?
We'll start by going over internal and external hoof anatomy. Then we'll move on to visually assessing the hoof. Next I'll teach you the landmarks that clearly guide each trim. I'll also tell you which tools you need and how to use them.
Once you've got the basics down, we'll trim side by side until you're ready to take over. You'll be surprised how easy it is. In fact, I have several teach and trim graduates, like Andrew, that are trimming on their own and they're doing great!
